Terms and Conditions – DriveSoon Driving School

1. Booking and Registration

• All bookings made through our website, phone, or in-person are considered final.

• It is the student’s responsibility to ensure accuracy in selecting services and providing contact details.

2. Driver’s License Requirements

• Students must possess a valid Ontario driver’s license or an equivalent recognized by the Ministry of Transportation.

• If you have any restrictions on your license (except “Corrective Lenses Required”), you must inform us before registering for any course or lesson.

• Failure to do so may result in cancellation of service and deduction of an administrative fee before any refund.

3. Lesson Timings and Punctuality

• Students should be ready at the agreed pickup location at least 5 minutes before the scheduled lesson.

• Delays beyond 10 minutes may result in reduced lesson time or cancellation without refund.

4. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

• Late cancellations (less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson) or no-shows will result in a $50 fee.

• The fee must be paid to the instructor at the next appointment.

5. Rescheduling Policy

• No short-notice calls will be accepted for rescheduling or for changing the pickup/drop-off location.

• If rescheduling is necessary due to severe weather or instructor unavailability, we will arrange a new schedule at no additional cost.

6. Instructor-Initiated Cancellations

• Instructors may cancel lessons on short notice due to:

  • Sudden unsafe weather changes

  • Traffic jams causing long delays

  • Unexpected car issues

• In such cases, we will reschedule your lesson without penalty.

7. Student Responsibility for Vehicle Damage

• The student is responsible for any damage to the training vehicle caused by:

  • Harsh use of controls

  • Slamming doors

  • Negligent behavior

8. Traffic Violations

• The student must pay any traffic tickets issued during the lesson due to disobeying signs, signals, or road rules.

• Proof of ticket payment must be submitted to the school.

9. Right to Refuse or Cancel Service

• We reserve the right to cancel or refuse services to anyone who:

  • Violates these terms

  • Behaves inappropriately

  • Poses a safety risk to the instructor or themselves

10. Changes to Fees and Services

• DriveSoon reserves the right to change services and fees without notice.

• Confirmed bookings will not be affected by any fee increase.

11. Refund Policy

• Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 5–10 business days after cancellation.

• Any applicable administrative fees or penalties will be deducted before the refund.

12. Acceptance of Terms

• By registering with DriveSoon Driving School, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
